First time at Almond Hearing Broughty Ferry. Welcomed at front desk by a very friendly receptionist . Lindsey (Audiologist) was equally friendly very informative and extremely professional. She gave me lots of good advice reference day to day ongoing 'ear management'. Wax removal was achieved painlessly by microsuction and also irrigation. I have attended other venues for wax removal but this one is by far the best -5 Star !! All in all, was a professional experience and value for money. Highly recommended ! Thank you. ~ Pee G

Almond Hearing in Broughty Ferry is just absolutely incredible. The receptionist treats you like an old friend she’s really pleased to see and Lindsay is just wonderful. She dealt with my autistic son today with such clarity and kindness and patience. I was recommended Almond Hearing, as I was suffering from wax build up and a noticeable loss in hearing. Not knowing what to expect, I was greeted in a friendly manner. Everything about the process was explained to me, Lindsey, was warm and friendly and made me feel at ease. The process was swift and pain free, and it was nice to see the before and after pictures. Had an appointment to have ear wax removed. When visited Almond Hearing all was explained beforehand prior to treatment. The specialist went thru the various procedure prior and during treatment. Felt at ease during the treatment which was successful. Would recommend Almond Hearing. ~ Allan P

Over the years I have experienced both NHS and High Street audiologists with varying degrees of satisfaction. I Googled Independent Audiologists, found Almond Hearing on my doorstep in Broughty Ferry and made an appointment. As I stepped inside Brook House I was warmly welcomed by Lindsey, and ushered into an enormous consulting room. All the state of the art audiology equipment you would expect to find was situated in this room with beautiful original Victorian cornices, dado rails, and wooden shutters. OK - this isn't directly connected to the business of audiology, but it does set the scene for what came next. Lindsey was friendly, but very professional. She was unhurried and listened carefully to my reasons for seeking her help in a sympathetic and empathetic manner. My hearing was tested in the usual small booth. Lindsey's explanation of what was going to happen and what I was supposed to do was concise and to the point, and afterwards she explained the results very clearly and explained the graphs on the monitor. My current aids are five years old and need charging twice per day. Lindsey explained how much the technology has moved on during this period, including the increased battery life. I was able to try out a pair of new aids and I was very impressed by the improved clarity. At no point did I feel that I was being pressured to buy new hearing aids. Lindsey simply pointed out the drawbacks of old technology v the advantages of more up-to-date models, and left me to draw my own conclusions. So, a very enjoyable and informative first visit. I returned and received a pair of trial devices which Lindsey tuned to my personal profile. I wore them for two weeks and enjoyed the improvement in my hearing, and enjoyed not having to charge them twice daily. At the end of the trial period I had no hesitation in ordering my brand new hearing aids and a week later Lindsey fitted my brand new Phonak Audeo l90-Sphere hearing aids. She took a lot of time getting everything just right, tweaking in response to my observations. The process from beginning to end has been a pleasure. In reception, Eden is always welcoming, and Lindsey exudes confidence and competence, combined with friendliness. ~ MICHAEL H
